Controller – Finance & Case Controlling (m/f/d)

To strengthen our team we are looking for a Controller – Finance & Case Controlling (Mandatscontrolling) (m/f/d). In this role you work where finance, controlling and day-to-day operations meet. You make sure we keep a clean view of our numbers, cash flows, projects, products and cases (Mandate), so we can take well-founded decisions.
What you will do
As Controller – Finance & Case Controlling (m/f/d) you take on a key role in our finance and controlling team. That includes:
- You help prepare the monthly and annual accounts (Monats- und Jahresabschlüsse)
- In ongoing case controlling you keep track of incoming payments, open receivables and anything that needs clearing up
- You work day to day in preparatory bookkeeping (vorbereitende Buchhaltung)
- You take on tasks in project and product controlling
- You handle and check membership fees (Mitgliedsbeiträge)
What you bring to the role
- A commercial apprenticeship or a degree in business administration
- First hands-on experience in finance, accounting or controlling, ideally at an audit firm or in a company's finance function
- A strong head for numbers and real enjoyment in getting to the bottom of complex, detailed matters
- Good Excel skills; SQL is a big plus
- You like structured work and routine
- You work carefully and independently and take responsibility for your work
- German at near-native level
- Very good English, C1 at least
