If you do not want to accept a rent increase, you should have your rental contract checked by experts. If it turns out that the rent increase is against the law, you can object.

If you do not want to accept a rent increase, you should definitely have the increase checked by experts for its legality. If the rent increase seems unlawful, you should object. Your landlord may not give you notice or put you under pressure just because you are asserting your rights. If you comply with your obligations as a tenant, you can only be terminated in one way: for personal use or economic exploitation. If you do not rent your apartment from a private person, this is already not possible. But even for private landlords this is only possible under strict conditions, which are often not fulfilled. The most important thing first: Only if your rent increase has been successfully fended off, you will pay something. In this case, we charge the achieved rent savings of four months (incl. VAT) as a success fee.
Example: For a successfully averted rent increase of 30.00 Euros per month, the success fee is 120 Euros (incl. VAT). Due to necessary settlement processes between CONNY and our contract attorneys, it may happen that in the case of legal proceedings before a court, you will first have to pay the costs of CONNY's contract attorneys. However, CONNY will reimburse you for these costs afterwards.
