It's quite simple: When renting a new apartment, the landlord is not allowed to charge an excessive rent. A maximum of 10% above the local comparative rent is permitted. Those who have to pay more can demand a rent reduction during the current tenancy and reclaim the overpaid rent from that point on. However, the devil is in the details: the tenant must activate the rent control by means of a so-called qualified letter of complaint, otherwise the landlord can simply keep the excess rent received. The qualified letter of complaint must meet some legal requirements and specifically derive, based on the local rent index, why the rent is excessive. But if you hire CONNY, you don't have to worry about that: We will take care of the letter of reprimand for you. In addition, the landlord can try to invoke various exceptions to the "Mietpreisbremse".

Yes, the input and evaluation of the data by CONNY, including the calculation of the possible savings potential, is free of charge for you. You can then decide whether to commission CONNY GmbH to enforce your claim.

Only if you instruct CONNY and we win the case for you, a commission in the amount of the saved rent of six months will be due. In most cases, this is already covered by the repayment claim. In any case, you only pay if we have been successful for you.
